Ministry of Health has warned about the side effects of acne

Health Canada has warned all those who enjoys the popular acne drug Accutane, the possible severe cutaneous reactions associated with treatment with this drug.

Accutane is used in the past 25 years, and the Ministry said that the 16 million patients have severe reactions recorded only in 66-ty.

Accutane can be purchased in Canada only by prescription, and resort to it is usually in cases where other treatments are ineffective. Among the symptoms - rash, fever, inflammation of the eyes, general weakness, blisters on hands, feet or face, sores in the mouth and nasal cavity. Scaly skin may also be a sign of acute reaction to medication.
